The new classroom building is underway at Pedro Nufio School in Politilly Bight. The Roatan Children’s Fund was approached by some local residents to buy a few Bricks to help the school build a new classroom. The school had only two classrooms for grades 1-6 and the students were meeting outside because the other 2 classrooms were overcrowded. This morphed into a project supported by the Roatan Children's Fund, the Rotary Club of Roatan, local businesses and with the help of the Politilly community men the walls of the classroom are reaching up to the sky. The classroom will also have a small storage facility for sports equipment and supplies.
